I've always assumed I could export and import config files between Netgate models, but sometimes I read about people having issues.
For instance, I have a config file of an SG-1100. If I were to order an SG-5100, could there be any issues loading that config file on it?
On this particular SG-1100 config on the WAN side I have two VLANs: VLAN 4 (dhcp) and VLAN 6 (PPPoE), both tied to the SoC marvel at the correct internal VLAN #.
Then on the LAN side I have 7 VLANs all tied similarly to the LAN internal VLAN #.

Should I prepare to re-assign those VLANs to new interfaces on the target device?

Other than that I didn't have much else running, just pfBlocker using std settings, no geoIP, but packages will get re-downloaded anyway.

      Thanks in advance
      Pete

Testing: SG-1100 w/ 120GB SSD via ext USB (eMMC dead). Works great

@cabledude When going from the 1100 to the 5100, just reassign WAN, LAN, and OPT to igb0....etc and you should be good.
