I just opened the box and set it up but something tells me I’ve configured my public WAN IP wrong.

My ISP gave me the following format:

      IP: 45.xx.xxx.xx

      Subnet: 255.255.255.192

      Gateway: 45.xx.zxx.xx

      DNS: 8.8.8.8

Please enter this information into your router.

So the setup gives me a drop down for subnet between 1-25. I’m confused about this.

The internet of course is not working. I can not ping out.

Sorted it out. I learned about the CIDR table and the subnet I needed. Set fields. Restarted router. Done!
