      Hello,

This topic is the english translation of this one : https://forum.netgate.com/topic/160455/ipv6-sur-interface-bridge?_=1612250250312
I will follow both until the solution is found.

I've been using pfsense for years in my home network using only ipv4 without any issue. Yesterday, I tried to upgrade my configuration to deploy ipv6. I use bridges on every interface, except on WAN since yesterday. Configuration (IP/DHCP/Firewall Rules...) is made on the bridge interface.

WAN can obtain ipv6 using DHCPv6 but the other interfaces can't. I tried using :

      • "Track interface" > no ipv6 assigned to LAN
      • "static ip" for ipv6 LAN configuration, using an ip in the range given by my ISP > 100% packet loss with Diagnostics>Ping using LAN interfaces

I tried to use DHCPv6 and DHCPv6 Relay for LAN devices to give them ipv6 adress. It works , they really obtain ipv6 adresses, but no connectivity with it.

I am conviced this is related to bridge configuration but I can't figure out how to make it have working ipv6 connectivity.

      Thanks for your help !
