accidentally upgraded to 2.6.0 snapshot instead of 2.5.0 RC
-
can i force a downgrade somehow?
-
Since both are essentially the same right now, it should be safe to set your update branch to Next stable version and then force a reinstall of any items that are labeled 2.6.0 via pkg at the CLI.
That can be a bit tricky to do, though. Might be better to install fresh and ensure it's set properly first.

ok thanks! i'll give that a try, i have a backup config, so maybe i can just install and restore easy enough too

switched the branches and did
$ pkg install -f pfSense pfSense-base pfSense-default-config pfSense-kernel-pfSense pfSense-rc
seems to have worked. not sure if i missed any other packages, but seems ok. slightly easier than reinstall / restore at this point.

@dirtyfreebooter Thank you I did the same thing. Your trick worked!
