      Hello ! I am new to pfsense and this has been my first time building a box from a Dell Optiplex 755. It has 2 Intel Pro 1000 Nics and 2GB of ram. I have had this box up and running for around a month now with no issues. My issues started when my kids would download games for their gaming computers. I noticed my wan would max out at 15mbps and then randomly lose connection. I have 100mbps from my cable provider. I also have UPNP enabled for the gaming computers and consoles. I have a schedule on the firewall for my kids also. I am trying to figure out why I am only getting 15mbps on my WAN. Both NICS show 1000baseT Full duplex for my LAN and WAN. Any help would be appreciated. I am running version 2.4.5 of pfsesne

        Could you have misread 15MB/(Byte) s as 15Mb/s (Bits)

        If you find my answer useful - Please give the post a 👍 - "thumbs up"

            Are you seeing that same limit on all internal clients?

            Check Status > Interfaces. Make sure all the NICs are linked at the expected speed and no errors/collisions are shown.

              @stephenw10

              Also, 15 or even 100 millibits/sec is a bit on the slow side. 😉

              @swtrpeter

              I have a 500/20 Mb connection and sometimes get over 700 Mb down, so pfsense is certainly capable of 100 Mb.

              I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
