I upgraded to 21.02 and I see a new crypto engine listed: QAT.

Does the Intel Atom C2558 support Quick Assist Technology ?

If yes, what is the best way to leverage this now with 21.02 ? OpenVPN clients, AES-256-GCM.

Awesome. I enabled it and rebooted but now the dashboard says no crypto acceleration is active. Anyone using it with OpenVPN ? I don't know if it is designed to replace AES-NI or....?

Run kldstat to check the module is loaded. We are aware he dashboard doesn't report it yet. A fix for that is incoming. You won't see much advantage with OpenVPN it accelerates IPSec more.
