      All,

Suspect that the Service Watchdog being "active" while certain updates are occurring has become a gating factor. Appears that during certain updates, the Service Watchdog is re-starting applications/services, which in-turn stalls the update. In some cases having to terminate the update and then manually remove the process from service watchdog, perform the update, then re-add the process to the watchdog. Some may argue that, that is the benefit of the watchdog, but if suspicion is correct - would be good for updates to temporarily stop the Service Watchdog just before beginning an update and then re-enable post completion of update(s). That would (at least) help to ensure that updates are occurring while still being able to benefit from what the Service watchdog provides.

      Thoughts?
