I am trying to use the Edit File package via WebGUI, load file, save but changes never get committed after I reopen it again.

      What am I missing ?

I take it your on 2.5/21.02?

You click the save button.. It will say saved..

Here I edited my etc/hosts file - added an entry.. Hit saved, then from prompt did a cat of the file and you can see my edit is there.

What specific file are you trying to edit?

          i do this

          41d87e16-f477-4fd2-a9cd-0d60b3dce56b-image.png

AllowAgentForwarding yes - changed to yes, File saved successfully.

Reload sshd and saved changes are gone.
Sounds like reload keeps the initial settings...
          hmm.... dunno

You can not edit that file, settings are stored in xml.. So reload would recreate the config from the xml settings.

            Just set that here
