      Hello,

I tried to upgrade my Mac mini 2011 from 2.4.5 p1 to pfSense CE 2.5.0.

After waiting for 1h and 30mns for the upgrade to reboot, I got the following error attached as a photo (sorry for that).

I had to find a previous 2.4.5 version to reinstall.

      Hope you can help.

      Regards,

I tried to upgrade my Mac mini 2011 from 2.4.5 p1 to pfSense CE 2.5.0.

Was it native installed? Or in a VM?

reboot, I got the following error attached as a photo
            (sorry for that).

Can i install pfsense on a macmini

I had to find a previous 2.4.5 version to reinstall.

            PfSense CE 2.4.5-p1

Please be careful from where you download your image,
perhaps there will be an officially server from Netgate
then I would be using this one instead of another instance.

1-I am not the OP. But I am on Linux and have the very same issue. It is waiting for device.

But even worse than that: After this update I am not able to use a USB stick anymore. Seems it went on with a Kernel update or something like that at the same time. Broke everything. See my post here

2-I think the MOST reliable is not on archive.org (from your link) but the OFFICIAL website

              Thanks!

So I thought you will be also on the need to get hands
                on a version 2.4.5_p1
