I have gotten my new SG-1100 set up, thanks to those who provided help on the firewall rules.

I am going to do a recovery on my original one, then I want to take a backup of my new one and load it into the original one. In other words, I want to have an exact duplicate SG-1100 sitting on the shelf as a backup (I work at home so internet connectivity is critical to me).

So my question is, can I backup the config on one device and restore it to another device?

I don't know about the Netgate boxes, but that certainly wasn't the case with the community version. A few weeks ago, the computer I was running pfsense on died. When I installed it on the new computer I was able to copy over the config and it worked fine.

i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
