My pfsense lost connectivity after updating my system.
I found after some investigation that my default route was missing.
My gateway ip is not on the same subnet, so I have to check the option "use non-local gateway" on the advanced settings on the gateway setup.
If the gateway is not on the same subnet, there is no default route.
If the gateway is on the same subnet, there is default route.
This behavior also happened on a new install of 2.5.0.

I believe this is a bug.
