Need procedure to roll SG-3100 back to 2.4.5_1 from 21.02-p1(arm)

After upgrading to 21.02-p1(arm), the SG-3100 must be rebooted every other day. The Unbound resolver stops working and none of the 80 users can connect to Internet websites using their browsers.
I have looked through the forum, but don't see a way that I can roll the SG-3100 back to 2.4.5_1.
I have a good backup that was made just before upgrading.
Do I use a PC and a USB thumb drive to download and install 2.4.5_1?
If so, where is the repository?
I need to get the router back into operation this weekend before school opens Monday.

No, there is no compatible 2.4.5_p1 image you can download from the Internet that works on the ARM hardware you have. At least not one I would trust for use on a firewall. However, you can contact Netgate and ask them for an official 2.4.5_p1 image for your SG-3100.
For a while, during the period after the release of 21.02 and before the release of the 21.02_1 patch, they were providing 2.4.5_p1 32-bit ARM images for SG-3100 users. I don't know if that policy has been rescinded now or not. You will need to contact them and ask. You can create an account and open a support ticket here: https://go.netgate.com/.

@gregbinsd Per https://forum.netgate.com/topic/161454/21-02-p1-really-fix-the-issue-on-sg-3100/22 you can try setting hw.ncpu like the pre-p1 workaround. (I've not upgraded any 3100s so can't vouch for that). Alternately it sounds like removing packages works also.
re: to roll back, what I would do is:
- install 2.4.5
- set to Previous Stable Version in System/Updates
- install desired packages
- restore configuration
- double check Previous Stable Version is still set

I did open a ticket on my SG-3100 and received a link to 2.4.5 RELEASE-p1 with instructions. I will add Steve's instructions where they fill in any blanks.

@gregbinsd Just to state it, I'd listen to Netgate over me. :)
Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

GregMake sure that before you install any package that you go to SYSTEM > UPDATE and then Update Settings and change the drop-down to "Previous Stable Version (2.4.5 deprecated)" and save that change. That is a very critical step, otherwise your first package install attempt will grab stuff from the 21.02 repo (even after you have installed 2.4.5) and you will be hosed a bit and need to reinstall.

unless you are a dedicated developer stay on the working version 2.4.5-p1
