We upgraded our office router last night and everything except WAN2 worked fine. We have 2 PPPoE-based WAN connections from our ISP (BT) and everything was working fine for years (and versions of pfSense from 1.x) right up to the upgrade, yet following the upgrade I cannot contact the upstream gateway of WAN2. The routing is correct in the routing table, the dashboard shows WAN2 getting a valid IP address and gateway, the PPP logs show the correct authentication, yet for some reason I cannot pass ANY traffic across the link.
Unlike some other posts here, disabling gateway monitoring does nothing except turn the gateway green on the dashboard (I have the dashboard show gateway statuses) but still refuses to pass traffic.
EDIT: The fix listed here does not work: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/161221/proxmox-ovh-no-route-added-to-gw-after-upgrade-to-2-5-0

@pentangle Just to say that last night's candidate release fixed the second WAN issue, but pfBlockerNG needed to be disabled and re-enabled after upgrade because I could only ping the upstream gateway and the monitor IP (1.1.1.1) until I did that. Other pingable IPs (e.g. 1.0.0.1) were timing out until I did that.
