      Re: Sg-2100 and 1000base-BX20

      I searched the forums, but couldn't find an answer, aside from Steve stating he would do some digging. Are there a list of officially supported SFP modules for the SG-2100? I've got a client moving to fiber and the ISP can provide the fiber without going through an Ethernet conversion box, but I want to be sure it's with a supported module.

        @jvcomputers I’m running an older 3com BiDi BX-20 in my SG-2100 and it performs flawlessly (gigabit - or rather the about 700mbit the SG-2100 can handle ina single stream large download).

        Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)

            I have a FS BiDi tranceiver running in My SG-6100 (worked in the SG-2100 as Well).
            Exactly the same model at the One you linked to - except is has a LC connector in the end instead of LC.
            I have two other FS tranceivers as Well (10Gbe SR and a GPON ONT bridge to Ethernet SFP )
            They both work in both my boxes. So it seems FS tranceivers generally works in netgate devices.

              @keyser Thanks,
              Do you mean LC connector in the end instead of SC?

                @rayyanthameem No, the One you linked to has a LC connector in the end. Mine has a SC connector

                Edit: just Saw the typo in My original post😊
