I had an issue with my isp gateway reporting packetloss and loosing internet for a few mins then back up again. I did disabled gateway monitoring it seemed to be much better than before.

But now every few days my LAN will randomly go down. I cant ping anything from the console on the LAN interface but I can still ping WAN obviously. I took a video as you can see below before and after a pfsense restart. It seems to keep shutting down but after restarting pfsense its goes back to normal and can be a number of days before it happens again. Its an intel NIC. You think this is a sign of a failure? I actually do have the onboard nic available, I suppose to can try for a while.

@bob-dig why would this be a joke? Iv been dealing with this for a while and I'm not sure what's going on. It's just something I noticed. If you cant provide the littlest insight, ignore it and move on.

Check the system log. It may possibly provide hints.
