      Hey everyone, I have been using m0n0wall for years, just started working with pfSense a few weeks ago.  Currently I have two pfSense machines running in a CARP failover configuration (can't get DHCP failover to work at all, but that's for another thread).  I am curious if there is a way to use SNMP to monitor what state the CARP interfaces are in - Master or Backup.  Or would it be better to rely on syslog messages for failover events?  What is everyone using?
