      Hello community members,

I have a very basic question but I was not able to find the correct answer in the documentation.
During my initial installation of pfSense I chose "yes" to the answer at the end of the installation where it asks if I wanted to make some final manual modifications.
I did not end up making any changes, so I typed exit and returned to the shell.

Now it asks for a login, but the default password admin/pfsense does not work here. How do I proceed to login so that I can reboot the system?

That did the trick, thank you very much @heper.

I am just curious now: is there a known password during this phase?
I somehow managed to end up in this situation that I could not find in the very well documented guides and walkthroughs.

No idea if there is any (known) password during setup
