      I need to register more than one sip user with my gateway. I have created entries for both on the gateway tab, but only one shows up REGED on the status tab. This seems to be confirmed here:

      $ ls /usr/local/freeswitch/conf/sip_profiles/external/
      sip.ca1.link2voip.com.xml
      sip.ca2.link2voip.com.xml

      Ok, I actually have 3 DIDs and 3 gateways created, 2 of them on sip.ca2.link2voip.com, but you see there is only an xml file for the one.

      so I copied that xml file and gave it a slightly different name and altered the "username" and "password" params and restarted freeswitch, but it's still showing only one REGED for each sip server. I suppose the database needs to be told about the third entry, but that's over my head.

      What shall we do?

        As discussed on IRC change the gateway name so they are unique in some way. Then if your provider expects a specific name assign it by using the realm.
