Coreboot update?
-
Earlier today when some packages showed as needing update and we had the new release of 21.02.2 the package manager was showing the coreboot update utility as a red "!". I watched the 21.02.2 install and saw coreboot being removed... I've looked here, I've checked today's Blog release and no mention of it.
Can someone enlighten us as to the status and future of the coreboot utiity?

@johnpoz As always, John, you are ahead of the curve. I haven't looked at the logs, but Coreboot package did get removed on my system.
Thank you for the heads up.Minor correction for those who go looking, it's "Netgate_Firmware_Updgrade".

In my case it wasn't removed because I did a clean install restored config from 21.02p1 - guess I should of done a upgrade. Before doing the clean install to move to zfs.
I removed the menu item by download of package manage config item, edit to remove that menu item and then restore.

@johnpoz So, you really did manage to put the cart before the horse...
But seriously, you do make a good point about order when needing to make a system change in the middle of an update. I'll note this.
