I don’t know if I’d call this a bug as such but I noticed after updating from 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 that the last snapshot in backup and restore says that in the description that I’ve updated to 21.02.2. I can post an image later if required.

On what kind of device did you perform the update?

@jahonix It’s not on official hardware, I have it running on a Dell OptiPlex 3070 small form factor. I’ll screenshot the snapshot description later.

@provels I’m running it bare metal so it’s not limited to VMs. Obviously it’s not a big deal, I just thought it was worth mentioning in case it was just my system showing it.

I'm curious to see a screenshot of that. I updated several CE and Plus systems here but didn't see that on any of them.

@jimp I updated fairly late last night and must have just seen 21.x and made the mistake of thinking it said 21.02.2 as that's the current latest FE release. I'm showing the same 21.4 to 21.5 version change as @provels.

                  I've attached a screenshot anyway.

OK, that is normal and it's the internal config revision number which is different than the release version.

You can see the config revisions for each version in the list at https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/releases/versions.html

@jimp OK, thanks for letting me know, I know you guys must be busy at the moment sifting through any possible bugs being reported.

Thanks for the speedy point release, you guys must have been working hard, wasn't expecting to see it so quickly.
