hello i have a comcast modem/router. I also have setup 3 routers connected direct to my comcast modem/router. One of the routers i setup for my brother so he can have a minecraft server with his own ports and he can change things. The only problem i have is that he was able to ping my comcast router. his router is a 192.168.x.x and mine is a 10.1.x.x. I'm unsure what to do to block it.

So i searched online and asked for help in other fourms and they told me maybe pfsense can help me. they can maybe i can setup a pfsense with some vlans on them other routers to make them apart from each other. The problem is i have no clue that is why I'm here to ask for some help. Can someone please help me?

Are you describing him pinging the LAN IP of the Comcast router? I would think they have that allowed by default so customers can test their connection to it.

If you were to put a pfSense router behind the Comcast router, then yes it could replace these three routers (if it had 3 interfaces + WAN), and you could set up a firewall rule to block traffic from the other two routers to 10.1.10.1.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
