    Sg3100 upgrade problem

      Hello

      I have several Netgate 3100 devices. MOst of them have pfsense 2.4.5 installed, some of them 2.4.4.
      They all refuse any upgrade. I have followed the instructions regarding this but its absolutely impossible.
      It is not even possible to install pacakges.
      What i would need is to have the ISO to reinstall them.
      Is it really necessary to pay 500 USD to get the correct image for reinstalling ??
      If possible i would just want to get an image and i will reinstall it myself.
      Can i use the 2.5.0 images avaialble for download ?

      Thanks in advance for any info regarding this
      I have some 1100 and they seem to upgrade online without any issues

        Who told you that? You don't need to pay anything. Just open up a ticket, supply them with the serial of the device(s) and you get your download image. Easy as that.
        Also there's no 2.5 image for Netgate devices, you'd need the pfSense Plus 21.02.2 iamge but if you open up a ticket, you'll get the correct one.

          Hello and many thanks for the quick answer.
          In fact this is the problem.
          I dont find anyway to open a ticket without paying the 499 USD support fee.
          So if there us any other way to open a ticket, please advice how.
          To get an installation image to an already recently bought product should not necesit a payment.

            Go to https://www.netgate.com/support/contact-support.html , click on the pro link https://go.netgate.com/ and login and or create an account.. I bought my unit used, created a ticket and got the OS image.. They were great with a newbie!
