Fast application of Rules, and NAT

It feels like im struggling understand things and when im making changes in pfsense. As if rules dont apply right away. Is this because of the established states staying alive before the rule actually works. Is there a way to make it so the changes i make happen immediately

A latter created block rules does not kill existing states, even if it would not allow an equal connection again.
You can only kill them manually in Diagnostics > States. Use the filter to find the correspondent connections.
