DHCP server crashing every 5-6 days after upgrade to 21.02.2-RELEASE (amd64)
-
Hey folks,
Can someone help me troubleshoot my DHCP server crashing and staying down every 5-6 days? This started happening after I had upgraded to 21.02 then persisted after I upgraded to the latest release available at the moment: 21.02.2. I was previously on 2.4.5 and I regret upgrading as that version was super stable. Now it looks like I need to schedule a cron job to restart every 4 days to make sure my router is functioning, i really don't want to do this, so looking for guidance.
Here is the errors I see in the dhcp.log file when the dhcp server goes down and stays down:
Apr 29 06:45:12 pfSense dhcpd[22912]: Unable to register fd with library out of range
Apr 29 06:45:12 pfSense dhcpd[22912]: Can't register I/O handle for ix0.10: out of rangeI'm running Netgate SG-5100 in case you were wondering. If there's other logs I can investigate, please let me know if that helps.
Help me!
Thanks,
ps. Here's some more lines around the error message if it helps:
