I'm having trouble updating a SG-4860 1U that was offline for several years. I have the device online but it won't take updates and displays the dreaded "Unable to check for updates" warning.

I'm on version 2.3.4-RELEASE-p1 and I'd like to upgrade to the latest version. I have console access but my attempts to upgrade keep failing. Depending on the approach, I get various errors about missing commands or out of sync packages.

Can just I re-image with a fresh download?

@mdreon Sure. Open a ticket at go.netgate.com and let us know you need the latest firmware download for an SG-4860 and the serial number.
