    Hello.
My isp modem has a weird dhcp options to make the tv decoder happy, I wonder how I can create a vlan on my SC-1100 that would only “see” the box’s dhcp server and get an ip (and dns) from it?

In short I would like my vlan 10 to act like it if we’re directly connected to my isp modem

The other vlans would still get their ip from the pfsense dhcp server.

    Thanks

      Bridge it to the WAN.

@viragomann ok, i do that in the “Switch” page, isn’t it?
I have to group vlan 4090 (WAN), 4092 (OPT port) and my new vlan id 10, if I understand it well ?

In Interfaces > Bridges you can define a new bridge and add interfaces to it. The go to Interface Assignments, assing an interface to the new bridge and enable it. No further settings are needed on the bridge interface.
But befor you have to ensure that there is no configuration on the vlan 10 interface. It has only to be enabled.

However, with this setting results in the vlan 10 going down, when WAN goes down. To avoid that you can move the IP settings from the WAN interface to the bridge.
