Pseudo multi-WAN
-
Hello,
I have my pfsense setup with pseudo multi-WAN. My ISP gives me 5 Static IPs that are handed out via DHCP to the registered MAC. I was able to use port forwarding for each static IP to go to each web server. After I updated to 2.5.1-RELEASE, this no longer works.
Looking at the documentation, it appears the outbound NAT using the OPT WANs should not work. Is that what happened witht the latest update? If fixed a bug that was allowing me to port forward from each static IP? -
@simka
Follow up: I reverted back to ver 2.5 and it works now. If anyone knows the issue, please let me know. -
@simka Hi there, do you have the installer for 2.50 If not how did you reverted ? If you have the installer where did you download it ? Can you send me 2.5 installer ?
-
@makq Yes I had the 2.5 installer. How would you like me to send the file?

Found this info that appears to relate to my issue.
Port forward works only on interface with default gateway, does not work for alternative wans

I checked the post. All french to me as I am not a tech guy. Is that mean that we cannot have multiwan on pfsense future releases ? Its sounds like one fellow is saying that multiwan working on 2.6 is that true ? If multiwan is not supported then what is the solution pfsense suggesting in this regards ? setup 5 routers ?

@makq it will be fixed when they release next update.
