      Hi Guys,
I bought an old dlink 321 modem with ADSL. It's cheaper, and the maximum speed I get at home also manages it. I have problems configuring the Pfsense with a modem.
      What I've tried so far:
Modem in bridged mode to my mini PC running pfsense.
I tried Pfsense WAN in PPPoE mode. In this case WAN is not getting any IP
And also with another interface for PPPoE did not work either.
Modem: 192.168.100.1 with DHCP and in bridge mode
Pfsense WAN: IP checked by modem. 192.168.100.2
      Pfsense LAN: 192.168.101.1
WAN as PPPoE does not receive an IP. With separate interface PPPoE, it shows connected, but I can't reach Google.

Connected means it has got an IP. So what?

The PPP establishing is logged in the system log. So check it for hints what's going wrong.
