I've been trying to figure out how to set a static IPv6 address for my PiHole in PFSense, since it's currently set to DUID in PFSense for assignments, it always changes. When I try to click the (+) sign in the DHCP v6 leases, I've attempted to set an address but it doesn't work- or I'm not setting it correctly, additionally, there are other assignment options for DHCPv6- other than DUID- such as link layer, on my old router it was as simple as setting a static IPv6 based on MAC address, isn't this possible without the added confusion of DUID?

Here are screenshots to clarify further, honestly any help would be appreciated, this has always been a struggle since moving to PFSense, and there is a lot of IPv6 traffic being missed as a result..

Is there any reason you're not using SLAAC?

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

SLAAC is the normal way to configure IPv6.

Look on Services > DHCPv6 Server & RA > LAN > Router Advertisements. If you have things configured correctly, a prefix will be automatically provided and the suffix is provided by the device.
