The question has been asked a lot.
The real question is : did you kept a backup of the config from your latest 2.4.5-p1 ?
And yes, you should keep always keep a copy of the pfSense you used "before".

        You saw this :

        ?

Also : start reading about pfSense packages, as they are only 'supported' for the latest version of pfSense, not the version before, as development always continues. Read a relaese note of any pfSense version.

So, do as what you would do with any other device (like Winbows etc) : keep the latest (version of before) install media, keep a set of your data.
And you can go back whenever you want.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Hi. I went back to 2.4.5 p1 also after experiencing a lot of issues with 2.5 line of release. If you have you config from 2.4.5 it should be no problem to go back. Just do a clean install and import your config. Depending on what packages you use there will be older version on 2.4.5 available. The newest version of several packages are only for 2.5.x releases.

For example I am using pfBlockerNG and 2.4.5 has the older version of pfBlockgerNG so I am running a separate virtual machine with AdGuard Home doing all my adblocking.

Thanks! Regretfully, I did not keep my config from previous versions. I'll know to do that going forward!
