      Hi all,

I'm having issues with my fibre connection. I'm in the UK and have a supplier that provided some PPPOE details and this was working fine.

I've since switched suppliers and for some reason can't connect (using similar login details and a process with the new supplier).

I've connected using a laptop and PPPOE connection and can confirm this works. I've also spoken with my new fibre supplier and they have said that they aren't able to see a MAC address for my PfSense router their end. I've tried using the spoof feature but this seems to be the only reason my router is not achieving a connection. Any ideas?

        Hi,

        What HW are you using?
I need the first 3 segments of MAC,

        BTW:

I encountered this problem, which is due to the strict MAC filtering of the service provider (ISPs)

so, use "spoofed", well known manufactures MAC address block, Intel, Cisco, Supermicro, etc....

Cats bury it so they can't see it!
(You know what I mean if you have a cat)
