Suppress "arp: is using my IP address"
May 24 15:03:00 kernel arp: e0:22:04:56:6f:b1 is using my IP address 75.a.b.c on em0!
Is there a way to suppress this error?
I am reasonably sure it is because my ATT gateway is giving pfSense the outside address.
@andyrh System - Advanced - Networking - Network Interfaces - ARP Handling
Assuming the option is immediate it did not have an affect.
@andyrh If you look in your ARP table, what is associated with that MAC address?
It is the MAC of a NIC on the ATT router.
@andyrh OK that's good news. I don't have any suggestions other than the Universal Windows Fix (reboot).
Downtime at my house is not a thing.
It has been booted after this started and has only been up 23 days... embarrassingly short time...
I just now got around to asking if there is a way to stop it.
Thank you for the suggestions.
