Netgate SG-4860-1u using 2.5.1 or pfSense Plus

I have seen posting stating that many individual have the SG-4860-1u running 2.4.5_1, but has anyone got pfSense Plus or the community edition 2.5.1 working on this hardware?
I notice the CPU is very similar to a network desktop model which is running the same version of the software.
I was planning to update the m.sata to a higher capacity and then install the 2.5.1 as this unit is my dev lab environment.

Why would you think pfsense+ wouldn't run on it?

Yes, both run fine on there but Plus has a few extras like factory did.

@johnpoz - the unit was off for a few months. When I turned it back on, the system stated it was up to date (via the system - update - system update). As I own two other Netgate models (SG-1100 and SG-2200), the models have pfSense Plus. I never a statement regarding hardware limit via the documentation site nor any release notes.
As I am checking this forum post (for feedback) this morning, I checked the system update section. Today it is prompting me the upgrade is available. It took about 1 day to prompt there is an upgrade.
The system has been upgraded to 21.05.
