So I recently picked up a couple PFSense machines for our EDI fiber at work, and I'm a bit confused about the IP addressing from them. I'm 99% sure Comcast gave me a chart with things in the wrong categories which is making it additionally more confusing.

Below is what I have from Comcast, and basically I need to know how I can setup CARP on this with 2 firewalls and a VIP for CARP. I do have TAC Pro support but figured I'd reach out here since this is a common question online and none of the answers have helped me much (likely again due to Comcast's chart).

      WAN Block
      Link IP: xx.xxx.xxx.160/28
      Gateway: xx.xxx.xxx.161
      Layer 3 IP: xx.xxx.xxx.162
      Layer 3 Subnet: 255.255.255.240

      LAN Block
      Usable IP Block: xx.xxx.xxx.36/30
      Usable IP Ranges: xx.xxx.xxx.161-xx.xxx.xxx.174
      Usable Mask: 255.255.255.252

Shouldn't the Link IP Address in this case be the .36/30 and the Usable Block be the .160/28?

Currently things are configured on another single firewall as xx.xxx.xxx.38 for the WAN IP and xx.xxx.xxx.37 for the default gateway.
