My rogers router has a default gateway 192.168.0.1 [spam link removed] but I want to change it to 192.168.1.1 !

pfSense uses also 192.168.1.1 on it's first LAN.
So, a 192.168.0.1 behind it or in front of it would work.

Btw : The pfSense manual doesn't mention anything about 'rogers'.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

You'd be better off putting it into bridge mode, so pfsense can handle IPv6 properly.

          I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
