      Using a simple WAN & LAN deployment on a virtual environment (AWS).

      The static routes configured with a "dynamic" gateway (from DHCP) will randomly be dropped from the routing table (probably on a lease refresh). A "solution" is to configure the interface with a static IP and define a "static" gateway to be used by the routes. This started happening with the latest pfSense versions (>2.4). Currently running pfSense+ 21.05
