    Hello Guys!

I'm a new user to pfsense. So far I'm very happy with it. The only thing I dont find ny solution to is: How can I allow some computers/users by their MAC-address to bypass the proxy? I only find "Unrestricted IPs".

    Regards

    Fredrik

proxy server > general settings >Bypass proxy for these source IPs > the ip addresses of the machine(s) you want (outside the "normal" dhcp)

dhcp server > at the bottom of the page enter the info for the computer, the ip field is one of the ips you entered above
dhcp server > range edit it to expand it to the ips you just added above

example you have a range of 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.10 expand to 192.168.0.15 (for the five computers you want to bypass the proxy)

Thanx for answering, but I maybe didn't was clear enough. Bypass by IP isn't any problem, the problem is that I wanna bypass the proxy by entering MAC-addresses.

          You can't directly.

The packet filter uses IP addresses, not MAC addresses.  The only solution is as XIII suggested - using static leases.  Be aware that both MAC addresses and IP addresses are trivial to change.
