Discarding Renew from ..., Not Our Server Identifier
-
I'm getting repeated Discarding Renew from ..., Not Our Server Identifier messages in my DHCP log. Here's one of them (I'm assuming the addresses aren't sensitive):
Discarding Renew from fe80::b202:47ff:fe8d:4579; not our server identifier (CLIENTID 00:03:00:01:b0:02:47:8d:45:79, SERVERID 00:01:00:01:28:73:30:ad:00:08:a2:0b:91:84, server DUID 00:01:00:01:28:73:cf:9c:00:08:a2:0b:91:84)
From what I've been able to find, those are because 1) somehow a dhcp6.leases file has gone missing, or 2) I've got multiple DHCP servers on my network.
AFAIK, pfSense is the only DHCP server on the network. Any suggestions on how to track this down?
EDIT: I'm on 21.05-RELEASE (amd64) for my SG-4860.

@areckethennu It's possible I "fixed" this simply by rebooting my SB8200 cable modem (I realized it was the only thing I'd not rebooted after updating to pfSense 21.05 and I'm pretty sure it has its own DHCP server (over which I have no control)). I was getting multiple "discarding..." log entries per hour until I did so. In the 4 hours since then, I've gotten none. We'll see.
