      1 of our Netgate/pfsense machines has started crashing, I am assuming a hardware fault, but am not familiar with FreeBSD and cannot really make out what exactly the problem is? Is there a resource that has more information about how to read crash dumps off netgate machines?

        It doesn't look like those files made it through. The attachments aren't linked.

        You may need to rename the files from textdump.tar.1 to textdump1.tar for example.

        If you can get those attached we can look them over and see what happened.

          I tried editing the old post, but can only correct in the first hour after posting?

          Here they are again:
          textdump1.tar textdump0.tar info1.txt info0.txt

            <2>NMI ISA 60, EISA 0
            <2>I/O channel check, likely hardware failure.
            panic: NMI indicates hardware failure
            cpuid = 5
            time = 1625710404
            KDB: enter: panic

            That is almost certainly a hardware failure. Usually there is more to those messages to give a better indication of what went wrong, but commonly those types of are problems so deep they cannot be repaired.

            What make/model of hardware is it? When was it purchased?

            You can contact TAC at https://go.netgate.com and they can help you figure out if it's still under warranty and what your options are.

              @jimp It's a netgate (Super Micro C2758), probably 4-5 years old? We are ordering a new (7100?) pair to replace these, but I was hoping to check which hardware fault it might be.
