Intel i225-LM using VLAN on a bridge not working
-
My setup is a quad i350 and a i225-LM. I have setup the VLAN (5) on igb2 and igc0 and then created a bridge between them. There is a smart switch connected to igc0 with VLAN tagging setup. If I plug my laptop into this it will get an ip address from DHCP server (on pfSense) but cannot talk to any devices: no pinging etc even to pfSense.
Other devices connected to igb2 work fine (but cannot see the laptop). If I replace the VLAN nic igc0 with igb3, the laptop starts working.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?
I am happy to give more info if it would help but the simple fact is that my config works with igb but not igc. I know the igc driver is new to pfSense. Is there anything I can tweak?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Does it work as expected if you add a VLAN without the bridge?
The description sounds like broadcast traffic is passed but other traffic is not. Are you able to pcap the tagged traffic? Is it tagged in one direction only?
