      Hi Netgate Community,

Is there a way to connect our ISP via RJ45 to our Netgate SG-7100 1U?

I believe, the SG-7100 1U WAN port is an SFP, any recommendations for us?

      Thank you.

If nothing else you could isolate one of the switched ports.

        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/xg-7100/configuring-the-switch-ports.html

This is more of a how-to on doing that (3100, but basically the same process):
        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/sg-3100/switch-overview.html

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

My SG-7100 has the default WAN on port 1 of the switch witch is a 1Gb RJ-45.

Yes, the default WAN port is Eth1 which is RJ45.

If you need >1Gbps though you would need to use an expansion card to use RJ45. You cannot use an RJ45 SFP+ module in the on-board ix0/1 ports.
