    Vlan configuration on lan interface??

      hi! ı intalled pfsense. configured lan and wan interface. but ı'm not configured vlan on lan. firstly ı click vlans tab then ı choose lan interface. tehn writing vlan tag and i saved it.then reboot machine.  then click interface assigments add opt1. then chose vlan1 and save. then click vlan1 and active interface. and give ip adress to it. then i configure my client computer.write ip adress on vlan block and give gateway adress vlan ip adress. then on client pc ping vlan ip but request time out. ı added my network diagram. please help me.if you want to help me on remote connection ı added my msn adress cinlop@mynet.com

        Where's your client connected?

        Switch configuration would also be helpful as this is probably a switch config issue.

          my client connected on hp 2600 switch.

            have you configured your switch for the same vlan config as pfsense? the port on the switch that your client is on needs to be in the same vlan as the one you want it to access. You will also need to configure the pfsense lan port on the switch for trunking so that the interface can see packets from both the lan and vlan.

            have you done this yet?
