I have two gateways in the network that I am connected to with the pfsense. Pfsense has default gateway 1. Gateway 2 have I manually created on the routing tab. I have put these two gateways in a group where gateway 1 is Tier 1 and gateway 2 is Tier 2. I have indicated that in case of packet loss on gateway 1 it must switch to gateway 2.

Only problem is it doesn't switch to gateway 2. On the Dashboard I see gateway 1 go offline with the message Packet loss. Also under Diagnostics / Routes I see Destination default change from gateway 1 to the gateway 2 address.

Yet all traffic behind the pfsense (10.0.0.0 network) still continues to go to gateway 1 instead of gateway 2. So I'm probably doing something wrong somewhere, but I don't see it what.

Maybe a check at System > Advanced > Miscellaneous > Flush all states when a gateway goes down can solve your issue.
