      Hello!

Every night we run a backup of all our VMs, including our 2 pfSense instances that are virtualized. During the part in the backup where it's processing pfSense, it causes pfSense to send interface latency notifications to our IT email. Of course this is because the active backup causes pfSense to shortly experience some lag, but this is becoming a nuisance every night, so I was wondering if there's a way we could suppress email notifications during a time-range (it's always around the same time at night)?

      Thank you all!

There isn't anything built in to do that. You could open a feature request: https://redmine.pfsense.org/

But I would suggest tuning the gateway parameters to not log that latency level if it's expected during normal operation.
