      Hi All,

      Im running the following:

      FreeBSD version: 11.3-STABLE
      PFSense version: 2.4.5-RELEASE

I need to start the auditd services on the box, but when I try to:

      service auditd start

      The following error happens:
      /etc/rc.d/auditd: WARNING: run_rc_command: cannot run /usr/sbin/auditd

The auditd seems to be missing from /usr/sbin

Is there a reason/explanation for this not to be available and there is any way that I can have it available?

      Thanks in advance,
      Regards,
      Jonathan

        It's not included in pfSense.

There's no easy way to add it outside installing it from FreeBSD with all the reasons that's a bad idea.
