I have a network device which (for various reasons) I cannot add a gateway to its IP configuration, so it can only communicate with other IPs on it local network.

However, I want it to send logs to a hosted monitoring system which has a public IP address. I'd like to assign a LAN IP to pfSense, and then take any traffic going to that LAN IP and redirect it to the public IP of the hosted monitoring system.

This way I can just tell the network device to send its logs to that LAN IP and let pfSense take care of the rest.

Is there a way to do this? If so, could someone please point me in the right direction?

@zoltan Create an IP Alias VIP (Firewall - Aliases) on LAN with a local IP address, then create a NAT port forward (Firewall - NAT) to forward that VIP to the public IP address. You can restrict it to just the ports that the monitoring system requires.
