      Hello,
I have an SG-1100 unit purchased less than 3 months ago that stopped working.
trying to get in via the console or https and it is not letting me in.
via console, I am asked for a password (I am assuming this is the admin password I set via the web guide) but it is not working; I have also tried "pfsense" and "" but no luck.
Is there a way to fully reset the unit? using the reset pin does not seem to do anything except for the all the lights to stop blinking after a bit and then restart blinking.
      thank you for your help.

@ignazioc I have the SG-1100 unit as well - when trying to update the system yesterday the update page on the WebConfigurator didn't load fully. When I reset it I couldn't connect, and console wasn't letting me in - the console connection was spotty and I could barely make out the prompts. The admin login didn't work for me either.

The default config should not ask for a password at the serial console.
If you are seeing that it either already has config on it specifying a password on the console or it has filesystem damage and had booted to the Amnesiac prompt. The should be pretty obvious though.

The reset button on the SG-1100 is a CPU reset, it does not reset the config.

          Steve

Hello, looks like I had to reinstall the OS.
Opened a ticket with negate support and they were able to guide me through the procedure.
            Thank you
