      Hi,

i have 2 WAN Gateways configured as a Failover group.
WAN 1 is Monitoring via 8.8.8.8
WAN 2 is Monitoring via 8.8.4.4 (but is always down - because it has to be enabled manual by switching on a WiFi Accesspoint)

When WAN 1 is unable to reach 8.8.8.8 and goes at 100% Loss - i am unable to reach pfSense via LAN interface.. (192.168.0.1)

When i try to open 192.168.0.1 to check on pfSense what is going on - i only get timout in my browser.

When i connect via OpenVPN from external i can reach pfSense as usual..
(192.168.0.1) - WAN is not gone at all - its just 8.8.8.8 not answering the pings..

Any ideas why pfSense is not answering on the LAN interface locally when the WAN Gateways are considered as down?

      Thanks
