Normally, systems set up PW / confirmation fields so that if they are unneeded and/or not touched, the form can be saved with no issue.

    What I see right now:

    • The confirmation field is obviously different from the main PW field, every time I re-enter the HA sync page
    • And they both have something in them, even if I'm not using them
    • The result: it is impossible to save the form without entering data or clearing BOTH fields, every time!

Thus, I can't just change sync status, even to disabled, without playing with those fields. Can't do anything without touching them.

    Do others see this?

Your browser (or more likely an extension) must be auto-filling that form. I can't reproduce that here on anything.

@jimp Yep. A password plugin was injecting a PW into one of the two fields.

        Thanks.
