TP-LINK TX401 Supported?
-
Hi all, been looking at the TP-LINK TX401 10 GIGABIT NETWORK CARD and i am wondering if pfsense supports this card. I think it could have a Aquantia controller though not really sure.

Yes, the Linux driver TP-Link are providing implies it is using the aQuantia AQtion chipsec, so the AQC-100, AQC-107 or AQC-108. Except the 100 is SFP I believe so not that.
If so you probably can use it in pfSense but only by manually loading the kmod package to get the driver. See: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/155264/can-t-assign-nic-aquantia-corp-aqc107

driver
Is it on the pfsense roadmap to add the driver for the TP-Link so users do not need to load the driver manually?

Not as far as I know. You could open a feature request, I don't see one yet.
Installing the driver via the kmod pkg is not hard. Though I have nothing to test it with.
